Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě (/kvə̝/ /ˈɨlʤɛ/ [white] [towel; napkin]) is a subtropical Town located in Qădo Zone, Qisunahu District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě was founded by Mariah Zeshëm, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě has a yearly average temperature of 31°C (87°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 36°C (96°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě receives an average of 86 cm/y (33 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Overview

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě was founded durring the early 13th century in summer of the year 1205, by Mariah Zeshëm. The establishment of Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's construction back out of the project. Mariah Zeshëm pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě is buildings are built arround a single restrictive baked earthen mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's peasent-grade are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Even with that as it is, everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or much of both. The town should be gone, not dying. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is short in Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě.

The Assassin Bug, Giant near Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Fìkh Chyìkhgěl Ìljĭě's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves creating small tokens to channel Illusion energies of tier 3 via throat chanting.
